From Pain to Purpose

Hi there, I'm Kailey. Here is a little backstory to how Saint Haven Designs started.

I was still going to church but it had been a long time since I felt a real connection. Chronic pain has a way of consuming you. And although I wish I was more like the saints who carried it with grace, I wasn't. After years of wrong treatments and worsening symptoms, physical pain made space for one other thing. Depression.

Two of my kids have ADHD. They were struggling to connect with faith in ways their siblings and peers never had to think about. Sitting still. Staying focused. I remembered that feeling from when I was younger.

I wasn't finding the time to teach my kids about faith the way I was supposed to. And I knew I was supposed to be doing it. Of course I was. Then came the guilt for not doing it as often as I should have.

So I had to find another way.

I started designing art rooted in Scripture and faith that my kids could just live with. Something on the wall. Something they could see every day without having to sit still or stay focused. I needed them to know they were loved and that it wasn't their fault the traditional way didn't click for them.

Creating the designs gave me something I hadn't had in a long time. Something I actually enjoyed. And through that process, learning the stories, studying how the brain actually works, faith stopped being something I was going through the motions of and became something real.

That is what Saint Haven Designs is built on.

Every piece is designed in soft palettes, made to become visual prayer woven into your actual day. Not the day you planned. The one you're actually living. Whether you're Catholic, Christian, or somewhere in between, there's a place for you here.

Everyone has their own version of this story. If your struggle has ever made you feel isolated from your faith, I want you to know you aren't alone in that. That's why this shop exists.

Quiet faith for a loud world.
